Bike Hikes In Honesdale and Damascus
For 50 plus years students from Wayne Highlands, parents, and friends participate in annual bike hikes, held in Honesdale. From the WHSD Track area and in Damascus from Tyler Hill Camp. Participants raise money for Dyberry Day Camp while having a day of fun and challenging themselves to physical activity. Of course unlimited hotdogs, cool drinks, and prizes for all participants to add to the fun!
Wallenpaupack Color Run
Students, staff, parents, and community members from the Wallenpaupack School District area transitioned from an annual Bike Hike to an annual Color Run event. What a coloring success and fun event the Color Run has become! Hundreds of participants, run, walk, or jog through the massive "color throw" while traversing the route and dodging the colored water squirt! Participants have fun, learn about disabilities, and raise thousands of dollars to support Dyberry Day Camp!
